  • Pfeiffer's VP for Athletics Reasso Steps Down From Head Coaching Position

    MISENHEIMER, N.C. - After an extraordinary four-year run as head men’s soccer coach, Bob Reasso has relinquished the coaching position and announced the hiring of associate head coach Tony Faticoni to lead the program. Reasso will remain as the Vice President for Athletics and focus on running the athletic department and the upcoming transition to Division III.
  • Siaj and Moar Selected in the 2017 MLS SuperDraft

    MISENHEIMER, N.C. - A pair of Pfeiffer forwards were selected in the 2017 MLS SuperDraft this afternoon. The Colorado Rapids took Jaime Siaj with the first pick of the Third Round and Philadelphia Union selected Santi Moar with the 16th pick in the Fourth Round.

    The North Carolina Collegiate Sports Information Association (NCCSIA) announced its selections for the 2016 College Division All-State Men's Soccer Teams on Wednesday. 21 players from five different North Carolina institutions were named to the 2016 NCCSIA College Division All-State Teams.

  • Falcons Dethroned in 1-0 Loss at Wingate

    WINGATE, N.C. - The defending national champions were dethroned on Friday night as the Pfeiffer men’s soccer team (19-3) dropped a 1-0 decision at Wingate (16-1) in the Southeast Regional. The Bulldogs move on to the Elite Eight with the victory and are the first team to hold Pfeiffer scoreless since Young Harris accomplished the feat 47 matches ago.
  • Six Falcons Named D2CCA All-Region; Regis Wins Regional Player of the Year

    NEWBERRY, S.C. - The 2016 D2CCA Men’s Soccer All-Southeast Region team has been announced with six Falcons earning the honor. Nathan Regis, Jaime Siaj, Martim Galvao and Dani Siaj earned a First Team distinction and are now eligible to become All-Americans. Regis was also named Regional Player of the Year for the second consecutive season and Tomas Correa and Santi Moar were Second Team selections.

    The quest for their second straight National Title begins tonight for the Pfeiffer Falcons as they host Lenoir-Rhyne in NCAA Tournament Second Round action. With a win in tonight’s match, the Falcons will tie the Division II record for most consecutive home wins with 32 and advance to the Sweet 16. The Bears are the No. 6 seed in the Southeast region but upset No. 3 seed Tusculum on Thursday night to earn the right to face the No. 2 seed Falcons.

    MISENHEIMER, N.C. - Thanks to a five goal outburst in the second half, the Pfeiffer men’s soccer team (19-2) advanced to the Sweet 16 with a NCAA Tournament win over Lenoir-Rhyne (12-5-3) on a chilly Saturday evening at Lefko Field. The win is Pfeiffer’s 32nd straight win at home which ties the NCAA Division II record.

    MISENHEIMER, NC- For the third consecutive season, the Pfeifer men’s soccer team (18-2) was crowned Conference Carolinas Tournament Champions as the Falcons won in decisive fashion 5-1 over Limestone (15-3) on Saturday night. Nathan Regis was named the Tournament’s Most Outstanding Player for the third time in a row. The senior scored six goals in the tournament including a hat trick in the Championship match for the Falcons. With the win Pfeiffer’s head coach Bob Reasso picks up his 70th career win at Pfeiffer breaking the school record of 69.

    MISENHEIMER, N.C. - For the second year in a row, the Pfeiffer men’s soccer team placed 10 players on the All-Conference team the league announced today. The Falcons placed a record seven players on the First Team All-Conference and Nathan Regis was named the Conference Player of the Year for the second straight season. Bob Reasso also earned consecutive Conference Coach of the Year honors, while Dani Siaj was announced as the league’s Defensive Player of the Year.

    MISENHEIMER, NC - The top seed Pfeiffer Falcons (17-2) cruised to an easy 5-0 victory over the No. 5 seeded Lees-McRae Bobcats (5-13) in Thursday’s Conference Carolinas semifinal contest at N.E. Lefko Field. With the win, Pfeiffer Head Coach Bob Reasso tied the all-time record for most career coaching wins with 69 set by Coach Lefko.

    MISENHEIMER, NC- The Pfeiffer men’s soccer team (16-2) exploded for six goals in the first period of play to advance to the semifinals of the Conference Carolinas tournament with an7-1 victory over Barton (5-11) on Monday night. Nathan Regis scored three goals in the first 32 minutes of play, and the Falcons scored six times on just 14 shots in the opening 45 minutes of play. Regis finished the night with three goals, one assist, and Santi Moar posted two goals and three helpers to lead the Falcons.

    HIGH POINT, N.C. - Conference Carolinas has announced the 2016 Men's and Women's Soccer Academic All-Conference Teams award winners. Pfeiffer is proudly represented on the 2016 Academic All-Conference team by a total of 26 players. For the second straight season the Falcon women top the list in Conference Carolinas with 15, while the men add 11 to the list.

    BELMONT, N.C. - The No. 14 Pfeiffer men’s soccer team (15-2, 10-0) completed its second straight undefeated Conference Carolinas season as they defeated Belmont Abbey (5-9-2. 3-7) on Saturday afternoon. With the win, the Falcons have now won 23 straight regular season Conference Carolinas matches and will now set their sights on becoming the first team since 1997 to win three consecutive Conference Carolinas Tournament Championships.

The Falcons extended their league winning streak to 22 straight regular season wins and their home winning streak to 28 straight.
