Pfeiffer Men's Soccer Earns 3-1 Road Win at Huntingdon

Montgomery, Ala. (Oct. 14, 2018) –
The Pfeiffer University men's soccer team scored three second half goals to take a 3-1 USA South road win over Huntingdon on Sunday afternoon.

After giving up a goal in the first half, the Falcons responded in the second, with Caleb Bratanger knotting the match at 1-1 in the 56th minute with his fifth goal of the year.  Pfeiffer would take the lead in the 75th minute when Ryan Guidy notched his second goal of the season and would cap the scoring in the 83rd minute when
Carlos Cuadros scored to provide the 3-1 final.

The Falcons finished with 17 shots, with 11 being on goal.  Huntingdon had eight shots on the afternoon with just two being on goal.

Falcon goalkeeper Sebastian Zertuche took the win for Pfeiffer with Zak Heino taking the loss for the Hawks.

The win improves Pfeiffer to 7-7 on the season and 3-6 in USA South play while Huntingdon drops to 2-10-1 and 1-6-1 in league play.
