  • Pritchard Named Conference Carolinas Women's Basketball Scholar Athlete of the Year

    This afternoon, Conference Carolinas announced it’s Winter Scholar Athletes of the Year and Pfeiffer’s Meg Pritchard was selected as the Women’s Basketball Scholar Athlete of the Year, as voted on by the student-athlete affairs committee (SAAC). This prestigious award is presented annually to one student-athlete in each sport for recognition of their outstanding performance on the field and in the classroom.

  • Bickford's Career-High Not Enough as Falcons Fall to Converse, 81-73

    Spartanburg, SC – Sydni Bickford erupted for a career-high 26 points but it was not enough to secure a victory as the Pfeiffer women’s basketball team (8-17, 6-15 CC) lost to Converse (5-20, 4-17) by a score of 81-73 in the final road match of the 2016-17 regular season Tuesday night.
  • Pfeiffer Downed By Limestone, 84-47

    MISENHEIMER, NC – The Pfeiffer University women’s basketball team was outmatched at home against Limestone on Saturday, falling to the Saints in an 84-47 decision. With the loss, the Falcons drop to 8-16 (6-14 Conference Carolinas) on the season, while LC improves to 23-3 (19-1) and remains in sole possession of first place in the conference standings.

    MISENHEIMER, NC – Meg Pritchard scored 32 points as the Pfeiffer women’s basketball team (8-14, 6-12 Conference Carolinas) earned a tough home victory against Converse (4-18, 3-15) inside Merner Gymnasium on Saturday night.

  • Falcons Come Away With Overtime Victory at Erskine

    DUE WEST, SC – The Pfeiffer women’s basketball team (7-13, 5-11 CC) broke a three game losing streak by outlasting Erskine (9-11, 8-7) 95-91 in overtime on Saturday afternoon. The 95 points scored were a season-high for the Falcons and the most since scoring 111 against Converse on Feb. 23, 2013.
  • Falcons Fall At Barton, 81-74

    The Pfeiffer Falcons (6-13, 4-11 CC ) were unable to overcome a seven point deficit at halftime as they fell to Barton Bulldogs (12-9, 9-6 CC ), 81-74 on Wednesday night. Four of the five Pfeiffer starters scored in double figures as Meg Pritchard had a team-high 19 points on 8-for-17 from the field.
  • Cold Shooting In Fourth Quarter Leads To Falcons Loss

    The Lees-McRae Bobcats (2-18, 2-12 CC) picked up their second win of the season as they defeated the Pfeiffer Falcons (6-12, 4-9 CC), 56-43 inside Merner Gymnasium on Saturday night. Meg Pritchard once again led all Falcon scorers with her 14 points.
  • Pritchard Scores 1,000th Career Point but Falcons Fall to King

    MISENHEIMER, NC – Pfeiffer (6-11, 4-9 Conference Carolinas) senior guard Meg Prichard became the newest member of the 1,000-point club in a 77-47 loss to King (14-5, 11-2) Friday evening in Merner Gymnasium.
  • Tillman's Late 3-Pointer Completes Pfeiffer Comeback Against SWU
    January 24, 2017
    CENTRAL, SC - A huge 3-pointer from Ariana Tillman with 41 seconds left gave the Falcons (6-10, 4-8 CC) a 72-71 lead and completed a 4th quarter comeback that saw Pfeiffer outscore Southern Wesleyan (4-12, 2-10) 28-15 to steal a 76-72 victory on Tuesday night. Tillman finished with 16 points and seven boards but her corner 3-ball gave Pfeiffer their first lead since the opening quarter and helped secure Pfeiffer’s first ever win on Southern Wesleyan’s home court.
  • Hot Shooting By Mount Olive Downs Falcons

    On Saturday at Kornegay Arena, the Mount Olive Trojans (13-3, 10-1 CC) outshot the Pfieffer Falcons (5-10, 3-8 CC), 50% to 34% in their 85-64 win. Sydni Bickford led all Falcon scorers with 17 points with four three pointers in the game.
  • Falcons Fall At Home To North Greenville, 60-47

    A cold-shooting first quarter proved to be the downfall for the Pfeiffer women’s basketball team (5-9, 3-7 CC) as it lost to North Greenville (5-10, 2-7) by a final of 60-47 in Merner Gymnasium on Wednesday night.
  • Fourth Quarter Rally Earns Falcons A 74-67 Victory Over Emmanuel

    After dropping a heart-breaker on Saturday night, the Pfeiffer women’s basketball (5-8, 3-6 CC) played inspired basketball on Monday night to defeat the Emmanuel Lions (5-8, 4-6 CC) in Merner Gymnasium by the score of 74-67. Sydni Bickford scored a game-high 21 points as she shot 4-for-6 from the three point line and 6-for-11 overall.
  • Falcons Stumble at Limestone, 66-65

    For the second year in a row, the Pfeiffer Falcons (4-8, 2-6 CC ) and the Limestone Saints (11-3, 7-1 CC) played a nail-biter of a game and for the second straight year Limestone pulled off a win, 66-65 on Saturday night at Timken Center. Meg Pritchard led all Falcon scorers with 15 points as the senior played a game-high 36 minutes.
  • Bickford Scores Career High but Falcons Fall Short

    TIGERVILLE, S.C. - North Greenville (4-7, 1-5 CC) outscored Pfeiffer (4-7, 2-5) 21-14 in the fourth quarter and came away with a 75-68 victory on Tuesday night. Lauren Janka recorded her second career double-double as the senior posted 10 points and 11 rebounds. Sophomore guard Sydni Bickford scored a career-high 21 points and Meg Pritchard added 19 points on the night.

    The Pfeiffer Falcons (4-6, 2-4 CC) fell to the King Tornado (9-4, 6-1 CC) on Saturday in Bristol, 81-46 as senior Dajea Scott paced Pfeiffer with a team-high 13 points.

    The Pfeiffer Falcons snapped a two game losing streak as they traveled to Lees-McRae on Friday night to defeat the Bobcats 74-65. Meg Pritchard led the way as she scored a game-high 25 points and nine rebounds.

    The Pfeiffer Falcons (3-5, 1-3 CC)women’s basketball team dropped their second consecutive game as they fell to the Erskine Flying Fleet (4-6, 3-2 CC) on Tuesday night in Merner Gymnasium, 76-63 as Meg Pritchard and Sydni Bickford both scored a team-high 18 points

    FT. LAUDERDALE, FL. - Senior Meg Pritchard exploded for a career-high 35 points to lead Pfeiffer to a 74-67 victory over Johnson & Wales (FL) on Saturday afternoon. Pritchard went 12-for-21 from the field and converted on all seven of her free throw attempts as the Australia native sits 177 points shy of the 1,000 point mark for her career.

Pfeiffer was paced by sophomore guard Bethany Sarson who had career-high 19 points and senior center Lauren Janka had a season-high 15 rebounds.

    MISENHEIMER, NC- The Pfeiffer women’s basketball team (2-1, 1-1 CC) dropped their first game of the season on Tuesday night, at the hands of Mount Olive (3-2, 2-0 CC) 72-59. Bethany Sarson provided a spark off the bench for the Falcons scoring a career-high 14 points, including making 4-of-7 from three point range.

  • Falcons Dominate SWU To Improve to 2-0

    MISENHEIMER, NC- Behind a spectacular performance by Meg Pritchard, the Falcons improved to 2-0 on the season, with a convincing 68-52 win over Southern Wesleyan (1-3) on Tuesday night. Pritchard poured in a game-high 23 points, pulling down eight rebounds, with three assists and four steals for the game. This is the first time the Falcons have won their first two contests to start the season since the 2012-13 campaign.
