CHARLOTTE, NC- The Pfeiffer women's golf team came in fifth place out of 16 teams at the Wingate Intercollegiate Challenge shooting a two day total of 646. The Falcons had three girls finish in 15th place or better.
Meghan Holbrooks paced the Falcons finishing tied for seventh place carding a two round total of 157. Danielle Harizlip shot a second round 77 and finished tied for 13th place, and Amanda Floberg finished tied for 15th after a two round total of 160. Stefania Valgeirsdottir finished tied for 47th place with a two day total of 170, and Cristina del Diego carded a second round 88.
Limestone finished in first place with a team score of 626. Grace Galze of Queens was the tournament championship after winning a playoff against Mikaela Hadaway of Wingate.
Pfeiffer returns to action on Monday, April 4 as they compete in the Agnes McAmis Memorial Tournament in Greenville, TN.
