-  Pfeiffer University women's lacrosse player Meagan Bourque has been named the USA South Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week the league has announced.

The junior attacker from Seabrook, Texas, scored ten goals and assisted on three scores to go along with eight draw controls, seven ground balls and one caused turnover in a 2-0 week for the Falcons against USA South opposition.

In a 16-4 win at Brevard, Bourque scored five goals with four ground balls and one draw control. In a 13-10 victory at Piedmont, Bourque notched five goals with three assists, seven draw controls, three ground balls and one caused turnover. 

To date, Bourque has scored 15 goals, which is good for ninth overall in the USA South.
