Jackson and Eaton Selected to Second Team All-State

Senior defender Tori Jackson and freshman forward Cayci Eaton were selected to the North Carolina Collegiate Sports Information Association (NCCSIA) Second Team All-State as announced by the organization on Tuesday afternoon. The duo becomes ninth and tenth players in program history to be named to the All-State team.

Jackson wraps up a brilliant career with her all-state selection after setting career highs in goals (5), assists (2) and points (12). Jackson scored a personal best two goals against William Peace and added single goals against Brooklyn, Ferrum and Methodist. Jackson also anchored a back line that posted four shutouts on the season.

Eaton's rookie season was a huge success as she posted the seventh most goals in a season (12) and tenth most points in a season (25) in program history. The Harrisburg, NC native had a monster debut, recording four goals in the season-opening win against Brooklyn College. Eaton would net four game winners on the season, including the crucial winner in the 102nd minute against Averett.

The College Division is a combination of Division II and III programs in the state of North Carolina. Pfeiffer and Salem College were the only Division III programs to post multiple players on the All-State team.
