FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - It took just three sets for the Methodist Monarchs (13-10) to defeat the Pfeiffer Falcons (2-17) on Wednesday night. Offensively, Erin Errington led all Falcon players with eight kills.
In set one, Pfeiffer fell behind 15-6 but was able to win the next nine out of 13 points to get back in the set, 19-15. Two errors by the Monarchs and Emma Gray Beacham added a service ace and Lea Hilton added a kill to help Pfeiffer to hang around.
