Pfeiffer Volleyball Splits Matches at Meredith

Raleigh, N.C. (Sept. 22, 2018) – The Pfeiffer University volleyball team split a pair of USA South matches on Saturday, falling to host Meredith, 3-0 (11-25, 17-25, 20-25) and downing Greensboro, 3-1 (25-11, 25-13, 22-25, 25-19).

Against the Angels, Alonna Clouse (Harrisburg, N.C.) led the way with 13 kills while teammate Angelina Fardella (Harrisburg, N.C.) dished 20 assists.  Defensively, Emma Gray Beacham had 11 digs in the loss.

In the 3-1 win over Greensboro, Clouse again led the Falcons, notching 15 kills at 12 digs.  Bea team-best 22 digs whieLili Jaramillo (Oakboro, N.C.) had 18.

Fardella managed 38 assists and 10 digs against the Pride, helping the Falcons improve their season record to 5-6 overall and 1-1 in USA South play.
