Pfeiffer Volleyball Overwhelmed by Belmont Abbey

Misenheimer, N.C. (Oct. 12, 2018) –
 Visiting Belmont Abbey held the Pfeiffer volleyball team to a -.036 overall hitting percentage and took a 3-0 (25-18, 25-19, 25-9) nonconference win over the Falcons at Merner Gym on Friday evening.

Belmont Abbey improved to 14-8 overall with the win while Pfeiffer drops to 7-12 on the season.

The Falcons got a game-best five kills from freshman Alonna Clouse (Harrisburg, N.C.).  Fellow freshman Angelina Fardella (Harrisburg, N.C.) led the way with 11 assists while
Emma Gray Beacham (Laurinburg, N.C.) and Lili Jaramillo (Oakboro, N.C.) each had eight digs in the loss.

Belmont Abbey was led by Victoria Sisco's eight kills in the win.

The Falcons will return to USA South play on Saturday, Oct. 13 with a trip to Greensboro College.  Pfeiffer will take on Meredith at 2:00 p.m. and host Greensboro at 4:00 p.m.
