Devon Williams Finishes as Runner-Up at ECAC Cross Country Championships

Milton, NY – The Pfeiffer University Men's and Women's Cross-Country teams closed out their season at the ECAC Cross Country Championships. The meet featured an 8000-meter race for the men and a 6000-meter run for the women. The 2018 championship was held at the Hudson Valley Sports Dome and hosted by Mount Saint Mary's College.

On the men's side, Devon Williams closed out his stellar sophomore season with a runner-up finish with a time of 29:58 on a very tough wet and muddy course.  Along with runner-up honors, Williams' finish garnered him All-ECAC honors. Williams' season ends with three top-five finishes in six races, First Team All-USA South Honors, and All-ECAC honors.

On the women's side, Senior Megan Miller competed in her last collegiate race. Miller completed the course in 29:17 which was good enough for 17th place and All-ECAC honors. Miller was the top runner for the Falcons in every race this season.

The Falcons will now turn their attention to the upcoming indoor track and field season. Pfeiffer will open their indoor campaign at the JDL Fasttrack in Winston-Salem, NC at the JDL Early Bird Duals.
