MARS HILL, N.C. - In their fifth game in three days, the Pfeiffer baseball team (15-13) was swept by Mars Hill (9-14) on Tuesday night. The Lions scored 20 runs in two games.as Pfeiffer fell by scores of 10-6 and 10-5.
Anthony Allende drove in four runs in the two games.
In the opener, Mars Hill scored in each of the first five inning - including a five-run third inning - to come away with a 10-6 victory.
Drew Wilson was tagged with the loss, allowing seven earned runs in his three innings of work before giving way to
Zach Huneycutt who finished the game.

Dalton Lindley and
John Elwood each recorded a double, while
Anthony Allende hit his second home run of the season. Allende would finish the contest with three RBI's, a run scored and two hits. Pfeiffer was outhit 10-7 in the game and left seven runners on base.ÂÂ
In game two, Pfeiffer scored in each of the first three innings. The Falcons scored two runs in the first highlighted by Allende's double to right center, driving in
Cody McKenzie, who scored from first base. The Lions answered back in the fourth inning pushing across five runs and hit two doubles- one of those cleared the bases with a three run double.
Cole McGraw had two hits and an RBI in the loss.
The Falcons travel to Southern Wesleyan this weekend for a three game series. The first game is on Friday, first pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m.
