Box Score Pfeiffer Women Fall on the Road to Brevard, 67-63
Brevard, N.C..– The Pfeiffer University women's basketball team dropped a 67-63 in their final road game of the season at Brevard on Saturday afternoon.
The Falcons had three players score in double-figures, led by A'Mya McClain (Hickory, N.C.), as she scored 12 points on a 6-of-12 effort from the field. Teammates Mya Johnson (Roxboro, N.C.) and Brina Bentley (Chester, Va.) each had 11 points in the loss. Johnson finished 3-of-6 from the field and hit one three-pointer while Bentley was 4-of-10. Bentley had an impressive night on the glass, bringing down a game-high 16 rebounds.
Brevard's Annalee Boillinger hit six three-pointers on the night and finished with 28 points. Ty'She Washington had 13 and Destiny Williams finished with 11 for the Tornados, which improve to 10-14 on the season.
Pfeiffer falls to 9-12 on the season.
The Falcons will return home for their final two games of the season. Pfeiffer will take on Virginia-Lynchburg on Feb. 11 at 7:00 p.m. and will host Brevard in the season finale on Feb. 13 at 6:00 p.m.
