Box Score Pfeiffer Baseball Sweeps Series With 15-1 Win Over Berea
Misenheimer, N.C. (March 31, 2019) –The Pfeiffer University baseball team completed the series sweep of Berea, claiming a 15-1 win in seven innings at Joe Ferebee Field on Sunday afternoon

THE BASICS
Pfeiffer jumped on the visiting Mountaineers early, scoring five runs in the first inning followed by four in the second and 1 in the third. The Falcons concluded the scoring by plating five runs in the fifth, going up 15-0.
The Falcon offense blistered Berea pitching once again, this time by pounding out 13 hits, seven of which went for extra bases. Bryce Marsh, Kirby Lambert and Chaston Gordon all managed doubles, with Gordon hitting a pair.
In addition, Mason Striplin, Ira Dorin and Bryan Kowalski all hit home runs in the game.
Holden Carter earned the pitching win for the Falcons, throwing 6.0 innings, allowing just one hit while striking out three batters.
Next Game
The Falcons will host a doubleheader against Oglethorpe on Tuesday, April 2. First pitch is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. at Joe Ferebee Field.
