How it Happened
Three players recorded two RBI each in game one as the Falcons took the 9-0 win.

Pfeiffer wasted no time, as Kirby Lambert delivered an RBI single to score Bryce Marsh in the first inning.  In the third inning, the Falcons added four more runs to go up 5-0.  Mason Striplin had an RBI single followed by another Lambert single that scored Zach Ferrell from second base.  Chaston Gordon would hit a sacrifice fly to plate the fourth Pfeiffer run and Blake Winebarger singled to score Lambert, making it 5-0.

In the fourth inning, the Falcon lead would grow to 7-0 as Marsh hit a two-RBI single to right field, scoring Zach Ferrell and Bryan Kowalski.

Ira Dorin would add two more to boost Pfeiffer's lead to 9-0, as he doubled to the right center gap, driving in Winebarger and Lambert.

Falcon pitcher Nick Richmond earned his sixth win of the year limiting the Scots to only a pair of hits over seven innings on the mound while striking out seven. Derek Dyson and Brodrick Rierson closed the game for the Falcons allowing only one hit over the final pair of innings.

In game two, Pfeiffer again started hot, getting four RBI singles and an RBI double from Chaston Gordon in the first inning to take the 5-0 lead.

Maryville would score two in their half of the first and one in the second to cut the Falcon lead to 5-3, but a sacrifice from Bryce Marsh in the fourth put the Falcons up 6-3.  Maryville would tie the game at 6-6 in the fourth, but the Falcons regained the 7-6 lead in the fifth inning on an RBI groundout from Kyler Fairchild.

Maryyville took the lead for good in their half of the fifth, scoring three runs  and added another in the sixth inning to take the 12-7 lead. Pfeiffer then managed to score on a throwing error in the eighth inning, but it would be as close as they would get, as the Scots added three runs in the seventh to provide the eventual 15-7 final.

Friday's third game of the series has been canceled due to inclement weather.
