Misenheimer, N.C. (Jan. 15, 2020) – Visiting Greensboro College held and eight point advantage at halftime and had to withstand several Pfeiffer University rallies in the second half to take a 95-87 USA South men's basketball win in Merner Gym on Wednesday evening.

After being up 46-38 at halftime, the Pride quickly pushed their lead to their largest at 19:51 in the second half (49-38).  Greensboro held the 55-44 lead before the Falcons went on a 12-0 run over the span of three minutes to take the 56-55 lead. Pfeiffer again pushed back to eventually knot the game at 83-83 with just 2:01 left.  Greensboro then surged ahead 91-85, but a pair of Jerome Savoy (Waldorf, Md.) free throws drew the Falcons to 91-87, but following a Pfeiffer foul and a subsequent turnover Greensboro's Greyson Collins provided four consecutive free throws to seal the 95-87 win.
