Pfeiffer Wins at N.C. Wesleyan, 52-48
ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. (Dec. 6, 2025) — Pfeiffer University extended it's conference winning streak to four-straight with a 52-48 victory over N.C. Wesleyan on Saturday at Everett Gymnasium.
The Falcons (6-2, 4-0 USA South) built a 30-24 halftime lead and held off a late Battling Bishops rally in the fourth quarter. Pfeiffer dominated the paint with 38 points inside and forced 24 turnovers, converting them into 19 points.
Nyree Bell led Pfeiffer with 11 points and four rebounds, while
Kaileigh Gunter and
Miya Horton added nine points apiece.
Lettie Michael chipped in eight points, including a clutch 3-pointer in the final minute to seal the win.
Peyton McPeters anchored the defense with eight rebounds and four blocks.
Anaya Hall paced N.C. Wesleyan (1-6, 0-2) with 16 points and six boards. Dorinda Jordan added 11 points and a game-high 17 rebounds.
Pfeiffer shot 35% from the field and grabbed 42 rebounds to N.C. Wesleyan's 40. The Falcons' bench contributed 21 points, and their defense tallied 13 steals.
The Falcons will close the 2025 calendar year with a non-conference road game at Guilford College on Thursday, Dec. 11. Tipoff in Greensboro, N.C. is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
