Pfeiffer Announces Weekend Athletics Schedule Changes


Misenheimer, N.C. (April 11, 2025) – Due to recent heavy rains, Pfeiffer University, in coordination with our weekend opponents, announces changes to the upcoming weekend athletics schedule.

The Pfeiffer baseball team, originally scheduled to host Mary Baldwin in a doubleheader on Saturday, April 12, will now take on MBU in a single game with the first pitch scheduled for 4:00 p.m. in Misenheimer.

Pfeiffer and Mary Baldwin will now play a USA South doubleheader on Sunday, April 13 starting at Noon at Joe Ferebee Field.

The 24^th-ranked Pfeiffer softball team, previously scheduled to travel to USA South rival Greensboro College on Saturday, April 12 will now take on the Pride on Sunday, April 13 in a doubleheader that starts at 1:00 p.m. at Barber Park in Greensboro, N.C.

The Pfeiffer men's and women's tennis teams were scheduled to travel to Maryville College and Mary Baldwin over the weekend.  The nonconference matches with Maryville have been canceled and the matches in Staunton, Va. against Mary Baldwin will now be played on Sunday, April 13 at 11:30 a.m.

There is no change in the scheduled home women's and men's lacrosse schedule for the weekend, with the Falcon women's team playing William Peace University at Noon and the men's team taking on the Pacers at 3:00 p.m. at Lefko-Mills Field.

In addition, there is no change in the Pfeiffer outdoor track and field schedule, with the Falcons taking part in the Dennis Craddock Coaches Classic at the University of Lynchburg on Friday, April 11 and Saturday, April 12.
