Pfeiffer also got multiple-run support from its relays late, scoring twice in the seventh inning and three more in the ninth to put the game out of reach.
With the regular season complete, Pfeiffer will direct their focus on the upcoming USA South Tournament. The Falcons will be closely watching the final game of the series between USA South foes N.C. Wesleyan and Methodist on Sunday afternoon.
A win by N.C. Wesleyan over Methodist on Sunday will allow Pfeiffer to host a portion of the USA South Tournament and the No. 2 seed in the USA South Tournament, while a Methodist win over NCWU will bump the Falcons to the No. 3 seed and will force Pfeiffer to travel to Methodist for the USA South Tournament.
