Pfeiffer's Landry Stewart Named CSC Academic All-American
MISENHEIMER, N.C. (June 16, 2026) — Pfeiffer University student-athlete
Landry Stewart has been named a College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-American Second Team selection, recognizing her excellence both on the field and in the classroom.
Stewart, who just completed her junior season for the Falcons, earns the prestigious honor after posting an impressive combination of athletic performance and academic achievement. The CSC Academic All-America program honors student-athletes who demonstrate exceptional academic success while competing at a high level in their respective sports.
CSC members vote for the Academic All-American Awards within their respective collegiate divisions.
This past season, the China Grove, N.C. native earned USA South Player of the Year honors for the second straight year after leading the conference in multiple offensive categories, including batting average, on-base percentage, runs, and hits. She also rewrote the league's record book with a single-season mark for stolen bases, showcasing her elite speed and all-around impact.
She was also named an NFCA All-America (Third Team) an NFCA All-Region First Team honoree and was also an NCAA All-Region performer.Â
Stewart becomes the third Pfeiffer softball player in program history to achieve CSC Academic All-American status, joining former standout players
Emma Bullin (2025) and Dacia Ijames (2007).
