Royal enters his first season as a member of the Pfeiffer men's track & field program in 2024-25.

Prior to Pfeiffer
Competed at Garner High School in the 200, 4x100, 4x200, 4x400, long jump, and triple jump.

Earned the Garner Trojan Award and the Academic Achievement Award.

Personal
Son of Shari McRee and Bre'Asia Jefferys.  Has three siblings (Shayla, Shalia, Shanii).
