Biography

Simmons enters his fourth season with the Pfeiffer men's basketball program in 2020-21

2019-20 (Junior) - Played in 25 games while starting in 15.  Averaged 12.0 ppg and shot 44.4% from the field, 36.8% from long range and 73.8% from the free throw line.  Scored in double-figures in 16 games.  Was named to the USA South All-Sportsmanship Team.

2018-19 (Sophomore) - Played in 24 games while starting in 12.  Averaged 9.9 ppg and shot 40.7% from the field.  Shot 37.3% from beyond the arc and 40.7 from the field.  Also shot 79.5% from the free throw line. Scored a career-high 35 points while hitting seven three-pointers at N.C. Wesleyan on Jan. 19.

2017-18 (Freshman) - Played in 17 games and averaged 4.7 ppg.  Shot 51.7% from the field and 34.5% from three-point range. Scored a season-best 18 points in a 125-94 win over Piedmont International on Feb. 19.

Prior to Pfeiffer - Played his prep basketball at Roanoke Rapids High School. During his season season, he averaged 13.2 ppg and 3.6 assists per game.
