Gaffney, SC - The Pfeiffer men's lacrosse team (8-7) saw its season come to an end at the hands of No. 1 Limestone (18-0) in the Conference Carolinas Tournament Semifinal on Friday afternoon. The Saints scored 18 of the game's final 20 goals to come away with a 23-4 victory.

After Limestone scored the first four goals of the game, Kyle Pauwels found the back of the net off an assist from Ryan Cummings to cut the deficit to 4-1. After a Saints goal, Pfeiffer answered with 1.6 seconds on the clock as a pair of freshmen teamed up for a score. Kyle Enklemann found Cummings who rifled a shot past the Limestone keeper to make the score 5-2 at the end of the opening frame.

However, the Saints blew the game open with a 10-1 advantage in the second quarter. After Blade Garlow scored to make the game 7-3, Limestone connected on the next 16 goals to seal the victory. Cameron LaPorta would end the streak with his fourth goal of the season but the damage was done.
