Men's Tennis Suffers 7-2 Setback Against Limestone

MISENHEIMER, NC – The Pfeiffer University men's tennis team (4-7, 0-3 CC) got a singles win from Raul Ruiz on court No. 6 and a doubles win between the combo of Ruiz and Alex Woerner but fell to Limestone 7-2 on Saturday afternoon at the Knapp Tennis Center.

Ruiz and Woerner defeated Guillermo Ortega and Pierluigi Neri 8-1 to give the Falcons a point with a 2-1 disadvantage heading into singles. However, Limestone won the first five solo matches, taking a commanding 7-1 lead prior to Ruiz's win over Enrique Moreno, 8-6, at the No. 6 position.

Pfeiffer will look for its first conference win of the season on Wednesday, March 15 when it travels to Lees-McRae at 1 p.m.
