Pfeiffer Men's Tennis Drops Two Matches to N.C. Wesleyan
Misenheimer, N.C. (March 30, 2019) – The Pfeiffer University men's tennis team dropped a pair of USA South matches to N.C. Wesleyan on Saturday afternoon at the Knapp Tennis Center.
The Falcons fell in both matches by identical 9-0 scores.
In match one, Tom Hubble and Eduan Louw had competitive matches at No. 1 and No. respectively, with both eventually falling by 7-5, 6-4 scores.
Pfeiffer was swept 6-0, 6-0 at the No. 3, 4 and 5 matches while Alec Taylor fell in his No. 6 match by a 6-1, 6-3 score.
In match two, Louw again had a highly competitive match at No. 2 singles, but fell 7-5, 6-1.
The Falcons now stand at 4-6 overall and 0-3 in league play. They will return to the courts on Tuesday, April 2 with a 3:00 p.m. match with Greensboro College.
NOTE:
The match against Johnson C. Smith University originally scheduled for Sunday, March 31 has been move to April 27.
