New York, NY – The Pfeiffer Falcon's completed the Eastern Athletic Conference (ECAC) Indoor Championships on Saturday, at the historic Armory Track and Field in New York City. The men's team totaled 20 points and finished tied for 12th place while the women totaled 13 points finishing 13th.
Senior Sean Bryant turned in two top-eight performances to end his indoor career. Bryant finished 3rd in the men's 60m dash running a time of 7.03. Bryant returned later to run an indoor personal best of 22.99 in the 200m earning him a 7th place finish. Bryant closed out an impressive senior season with 8 top ten finishes over the season, and he set personal records in the 60m dash (6.99) and the 200m dash (22.99).
Freshman Kenan Waltower turned in the 3rd fastest time in the 60m hurdles. Waltower ran a personal best and school record time of 8.55. Freshman Nevin Foster also ran a personal best time of 51.13 in the 400m dash. His time grabbed him a 7th place finish.
The final event of the day saw the 4x400m relay team of Keyshawn Campbell, Dontavius Monroe, Tevin Colson, and Nevin Foster run to a 6th place finish. Their time of 3:30.18 was a season-best performance for the team.
The ECAC meet concluded the indoor season for the Falcons. The team will return to action in two weeks, March 15-16, as they head to Lenoir Rhyne University for the Southside Power and Fitness Invitational to open the outdoor season.
