Pfeiffer Softball Romps Past N.C. Wesleyan
Misenheimer, N.C. (March 30, 2019) – Pfeiffer University senior pitcher Kiana Millsaps earned two pitching wins as the Pfeiffer University softball team romped past N.C. Wesleyan by scores of 10-2 and 6-1 on Saturday afternoon at Jack Ingram Field.

THE BASICS
In game one Pfeiffer scored seven runs in the third inning to take an 8-0 lead and added two more in the sixth on a walk-off, two RBI double by Makenzie Pennell that provided the 10-2 final.
Vada Blue Sherrill scored three times and was 1-of-2 in the game, having been walked twice.
Pennell had a monstrous first game, finishing with five RBI on a 3-of-4 outing that included a pair of doubles.
In game two, the Falcons scored a pair of runs in the first, third and sixth innings to take the 6-1 win.
Sherrill went 2-of-4 with a double and an RBI in the win while Sara Brown was 2-of-3 with a double and an RBI. Pennell knocked a triple and had two RBI in the win.
Next Games
Pfeiffer will play Randolph College on Sunday afternoon, March 31 with first pitch scheduled for 2:00 p.m. at Jack Ingram Field.
