Sydney Poole enters her senior season at Pfeiffer.

2016: Pitched in 24 games, starting 13 times . . . posted a 7-2 record and a 2.21 earned run average in 79.1 innings . . . walked just 10 batters and struck out 58 . . . tossed five complete games . . . threw a complete game 2-hitter against Tusculum on 3/12 . . . allowed just one hit in 5 shutout innings against Converse.

2015: Pitched in  22 games, started 8. . .Had a record of 10-6, 8 complete games , and an ERA of 3.44 in 108 innings pitched. . . Won a complete game shutout 4-0 on Feb. 13th versus Winston-Salem while giving up 4 hits. . . Won a complete game shutout 3-0 on Apr. 24th versus Barton while giving up 5 hits.  

2014: Pitched in 22 games, starting 19 times . . . finished with a 3.16 ERA and seven wins . . . threw eight complete games and had four shutouts . . . pitched 104 innings and allowed only 22 walks . . . recorded one save . . . had 12 at bats and hit one homerun and drove in two runs. 

Personal: Daughter of Brian and Sandra Poole…Born on August 24, 1994…Majoring in pre-med.

Before Pfeiffer: Attended East Rowan High School. . . Also played volleyball and basketball in high school…volleyball MVP (2009 & 2010)…All-County in basketball (2011-2012)…four time All-County and All-Conference in softball…All-District in softball (2011-2012)…All-State in softball (2011-2012)…MVP in softball (2012).
