Winston-Salem, N.C.  – The Pfeiffer University volleyball team dropped a midweek USA South road match at Varsity Gym on the campus of Salem College.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE
Pfeiffer sophomore outside hitter Alonna Clouse (Harrisburg, N.C.) led the way for the Falcons hitting for 11 kills while posting 17 digs.  She also had one ace and one solo block in the loss.  Junior Emma Gray Beacham (Laurinburg, N.C.) posted 11 digs and had a team-best 26 assists.

Freshman Kaitlyn Kilts (Madison, N.C.) had a team-high 19 digs. In addition, Kilts managed a pair of aces in the match.

Senior Bri Weber (Jesup, Iowa) also had a solid outing, going for nine kills.

Salem had two players post double digit kills with Kathryn O'Connell and Madelyn Chappell finishing with 12 and 10, respectively.

Pfeiffer will close the regular season by hosting a USA South tri-match on Saturday, Nov. 2.  The Falcons will battle Mary Baldwin at noon and will face N.C. Wesleyan at 4:00 p.m.
