Men Finish 6th, Women 11th at USA South Cross Country Championships
Berea, Ky. (Oct. 26, 2018) – The Pfeiffer University men's cross country team finished in sixth-place while the women's team brought home an 11th place finish at the USA South Cross Country Championships in Berea, Ky. on Friday.
The Falcon's Devon Williams was the top finisher on the afternoon, completing the 8k course with a seventh-place finish of 27.44.8. By virtue of finishing in the top seven, Williams earned first-team All-USA South honors. He was also named to the All-Sportsmanship Team.
On the women's side, Meghan Miller completed the 5k course in 15th place overall, earning her third-team
All-USA South plaudits after posting a 25:14.4. Miller was also named to the All-Sportsmanship team.
In the team standings, Berea captured both the men's and women's championships.
