WILSON, N.C.- The Pfeiffer women's volleyball team fell to the Barton Bulldogs on Saturday afternoon 3-0, ending a three match road trip. Talor Hewitt posted a career high seven kills with a .312 hitting percentage for the Falcons.

Junior Laura Ann Fortner recorded six kills and registered a .214 hitting percentage. While Katie Wilson recorded 11 assists and Shenelle Charlot added a team-high 10 kills.

Stephanie Pingyin paced the Bulldogs recoding 16 kills and posting a .433 hitting percentage. Angelica Acevedo had a match-high 29 assists and five services aces.

Barton controlled the first two sets winning by scores of 25-11 and 25-15. In the third set the Falcons jumped out to a 7-4 lead. However with the scored tied at 11 Barton scored eight unanswered points, en route to a third set win, 25-17.

Pfeiffer returns to home on Wednesday, October 21 for a 7:00 p.m. matchup against King.
