CONCORD, N.C. - Center Silvere Aluko's buzzer-beating dunk off a great pass from AJ Clark lifted the Falcons (12-10) to a 76-75 victory at Barber Scotia (4-21) on Wednesday night. Clark was one of four players in double digit scoring as the junior poured in 23 points and added seven rebounds.

Andrew Guerrero grabbed a rebound off the Sabres missed free throw and fed Clark who raced down court. Clark got to the middle of the lane and drew a defender before dishing to Aluko who dunked as the clock expired to seal the win.

Ryan Atkins led all scorers with 30 points on 12-of-18 shooting from the field for Barber Scotia.

The Falcons shot 65.2 percent in the second half and 51.9 percent for the game in the narrow victory. However, the Falcons committed 18 turnovers and went just 3-for-15 from behind the arc.

Barber Scotia led by six at the half and pushed the lead to as much as nine in the second half. The Falcons rallied to tie the game at 63 with just over six minutes to go and took a 65-63 lead on Josh Calhoun's layup with 5:25 to play. The Falcons led 74-69 with 1:57 to go but Atkins converted a three point play to cut the lead to two. Off a Pfeiffer turnover, Atkins scored with 44 seconds left to tie the game at 74 and then hit the free throw to put the Sabres up one. Guerrero misfired on his three point attempt and ShaQuille Wilson was sent to the line with eight seconds left.

Wilson missed on the front end of a one-and-one, setting up the dramatic finish.

The win was Pfeiffer's third straight victory by three points or less.

Pfeiffer looks to stay hot on Saturday night as they host Barton at 7:30 p.m.
