MISENHEMER, NC- The Pfeiffer softball team(13-12, 3-1 CC) kept it rolling Monday afternoon with a two game sweep of Conference Carolinas foe North Greenville(10-8, 2-2 CC). Game one was a pitchers duo that went to extra innings. With the game tied 1-1 when
Rebecca Foil drove in the game winning run in the bottom of the eighth. In game two the bas again came alive and
Rachel Crowder hit a walk-off homerun to run rule the Crusaders in five innings 8-0.
In the first game Pfeiffer's
Sam Jarmusch pitched all eight innings only allowing one run off seven hits, while striking out five batters. North Greenville used three pitchers to get through the eight innings. In the fourth inning with the Falcons trailing 1-0
Jessica Jackson hit a leadoff double down then left field line and later scored the tying run on a Foil RBI single up the middle. The game remained tied until the eighth inning when Foil drove in pinch runner

The Falcons scored eight runs on 11 hits in game two.
Lindsey Russell had a big game two going 2-for-3 and driving in four runs. Pfeiffer scored five runs in the fourth inning. ÂÂ
Jaclyn Boever started out the inning with a double down then left field line and on the next pitch Crowder drove her in with a single up the middle.ÂÂ
Syndey Poole pitched a complete game two hit shutout, striking out two and only allowing one walk. This was Poole's fifth win of the season and second in as many days.
Sadie Saine added two hits and drove in two runs for the Falcons on the day.
Pfeiffer returns home on Thursday for a double header against Belmont Abbey. First pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m.
