MISENHEIMER, NC- The Pfeiffer women's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 match to Catawba on Tuesday night. Shenelle Charlot recorded a second consecutive double-double with 10 kills and 10 digs for the Falcons.

Pfeiffer dropped the first set 25-8 and fell behind in the second set 8-4. Pfeiffer pulled within one 17-16 following back-to-back kills by Kayla Hyatt and Charlot. However, it wasn't enough and the Falcons dropped the second set 25-21. Pfeiffer couldn't hold off a surging Catawba and fell 25-15 in the final set.

Erin Morant led the way for the Lady Indians with nine kills and a .429 hitting percentage. Setter Kaytee Frabotta recorded a match-high 27 assists and Bri Howard added a match high five total blocks.

Katie Wilson registered a team-high 22 assists for the Falcons and Kayla Hyatt had seven kills and two digs. Erin Errington contributed with five kills, two services aces and three digs for Pfeiffer.

The Falcons return home on Tuesday, September 15 for their Conference Carolinas opener against Lees-McRae. First serve is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
