The Falcons entered the challenge averaging over 100 points per contest, but the Scots' stingy defense allowed only a 32% shooting effort that included only a 6-for-24 success rate (25%) from beyond the arc. Maryville countered with an almost 49% shooting attack (34-for-70).

Pfeiffer (10-11, 5-9 USA South) was led by Kyle Riddley's (Charlotte, N.C.)  14 points while Nolan Whitener (Vale, N.C.) added 10 points and a team-high nine rebounds.

Maryville's Dante Hoppa deposited a game-high 20 points on 7-of 13 shooting that included a 6-for-10 effort from long distance. He also added six rebounds, six assists, and three steals. Emier Bowman had an unbelievable line score of 18 points, nine rebounds, four assists, six steals, and five blocked shots. Nick Clifton finished with a double-double. He tallied 11 points on 4-of-8 shooting while bringing down a game-high 14 rebounds. Calvin Songster added 13 points while Joshua Brooks tossed in 10 points off the bench.
