Pfeiffer Volleyball Gets 3-2 Season Opening Win Over N.C. Wesleyan

Misenheimer, N.C. (Aug. 30 2019) –  The Pfeiffer University volleyball team earned a 3-2 win over visiting N.C. Wesleyan in the season opener for both teams on Friday night at Merner Gym.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE
Pfeiffer freshman Reagan Wyatt (Stoneville, N.C.) began her collegiate career with a bang by knocking down 18 kills while hitting for a .452 percentage.  Sophomore Alonna Clouse (Harrisburg, N.C.) finished with 14 kills while teammate Angelina Fardella (Harrisburg, N.C.) dished 30 assists.  Defensively, Clouse let the way with 13 digs.

N.C. Wesleyan got 13 kills from Callie Cline. Augusta Preston and Haileigh Riesenbeck also had double-digit kills, with 11 and 10, respectively.
