Pfeiffer Takes 2-1 Road Win at Methodist
Misenheimer, N.C. (Oct. 16, 2021) – The Pfeiffer men's soccer team got a pair of goals from freshman
Jean Bah to take a 2-1 road win at Methodist University on Wednesday night.

Following a scoreless first half, Pfeiffer freshman
Jean Bah (Charlotte, N.C.) connected on his sixth goal of the season at the 61:31 mark of the second half. Bah then took a pass from senior
Jason Leyva (Monroe, N.C.) at 86:58 to score his second goal of the match, putting Pfeiffer up 2-0.
Methodist did make things interesting in the latter stages of the match, scoring a goal from Suwo Mavindidze at 89:03 to provide the eventual 2-1 final.
Pfeiffer goalkeeper
Ali Jaafar (Matthews, N.C.) had one save in the win while Methodist's Cole Hupp had seven stops.
Pfeiffer dominated offensively, ripping 19 shots on the match compared to the Monarchs' six shots.
