Raleigh, N.C.  – Meredith College downed visiting Pfeiffer University in straight sets on Wednesday evening in a USA South volleyball match at Weatherspoon Gym in Raleigh, N.C.

Pfeiffer was led by Mattie Burris' (Misenheimer, N.C.) six kills, as she hit for a .231 percentage.  Meredith's defense shined, registering a total of nine blocks on the night while limiting the Falcons to just a .043 hitting percentage on the evening as a team.

Kira Suttles (Morganton, N.C.) and Jessica Leshko (Apex, N.C.) had nine and seven assists, respectively while Emma Gray Beacham (Laurinburg, N.C.) led the Falcons with a team-best eight digs.

Meredith's Ally Coperhaver had 11 kills while Lauren Phillps had nine digs.
