Bah Scores Twice in Men's Soccer Win Over Johnson & Wales

Jean Bah scored both goals as Pfeiffer University defeated visiting Johnson & Wales University, 2-0 in a nonconference men's soccer match at Lefko Field on Saturday night.

After battling through a scoreless first half, Pfeiffer freshman
Jean Bah (Charlotte, N.C.) took a cross from
Jason Leyva (Monroe, N.C.) and unleashed a rocket of a shot that beat JWU goalkeeper Vasquez to the right to put the Falcons up 1-0 at the 60:04 mark.
Pfeiffer continued to take their chances and was able to draw a penalty in the 84
th minute. Bah's penalty kick went to the left of the goalkeeper and provided the insurance goal, with Pfeiffer leading 2-0.
Following the penalty kick, JWU would not get any quality chances the rest of the way.

Ali Jaafar (Matthews, N.C.) made several key saves, with his best coming in the first half on a diving stop to his left that kept the match scoreless. Jaafar finished with six saves on the night, earning his first career shutout.
