Pfeiffer Volleyball Has Win Streak Snapped by William Peace

Raleigh, N.C. (Sept. 28, 2021) – The Pfeiffer University volleyball team had their seven-match winning streak snapped in a 3-0 USA South road loss at William Peace University on Tuesday night.

William Peace limited Pfeiffer to just a .152 hitting percentage and had 12 aces in the 3-0 sweep of the Falcons.

Pfeiffer's Morgan Shrader (Matthews, N.C.) had a team-high eight kills in the loss. 

Freshman Kylee Mayberry (Harmony, N.C.) delivered 14 assists and a team-high seven digs.  Junior Mattie Burris (Misenheimer, N.C.) continued to excel at the net, as she had three blocks on the evening.  Teammates Reagan Wyatt (Stoneville, N.C.) and Lauren Shepherd (West End, N.C.) each had a pair of blocks.

WPU had a pair of players with 10 kills in Shelby Cooper and Kelsey Bierbauer.
