Pfeiffer Women's Swimming Opens 2022-23 Season With Win at SAU
Laurinburg, N.C. (Oct. 10, 2022) – The Pfeiffer University women's swimming team started their 2022-23 season with a 95-27 dual meet win at St. Andrews University on Saturday, Oct. 8 in Laurinburg.
The Falcons won seven events on the day, with
Madison Lynthacum (Mt. Gilead, N.C.) winning the 50-yard freestyle (32.09), and the 100-yard freestyle (1:08.83) events.
Nyah Hines (Randallstown, Md.) also had a great outing, winning the 50 and 100-yard backstroke events with times of 36.78 and 1:17.08, respectively.
Also winning events were
Allison Trull, as she took the 50-yard breaststroke with a 40.43 and
Kara Robertson (Cookeville, Tenn.) who won the 100-yard butterfly by clocking a 1:21.47.
Pfeiffer also took the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 2:21.26.
