Box Score Pfeiffer Men's Basketball Drops 109-71 Exhibition Game at High Point

High Point, N.C. (Nov. 7, 2022) – Division I High Point University shot an efficient 53.3% while Pfeiffer finished with a 38.4% effort from the field in a 109-71 exhibition game setback in front of 3.013 at the Qubein Center on Monday night in High Point, N.C.

HPU went on a 13-3 run to start the game and never looked back, as the Panthers built a lead as large as 34 points, leading 64-30 at halftime.

The Panthers then enjoyed a lead as big as 52 points at 13:34 in the second half (86-34).

In the game, 13 of the 18 Falcons that saw action scored, with Rashamel Butler (Ridgeland, S.C.) and Doug Smith (Badin, N.C.) each finishing with 10 points in their debut with the Black and Yellow. Smith also had a team-high six rebounds.

Pfeiffer will open the 2022-23 regular season on Wednesday, Nov. 9 with a road trip to former USA South foe Averett University.  Tipoff from the Grant Center is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
