Methodist Defeats Pfeiffer Men's Tennis, 7-2

Misenheimer, N.C. (March 31, 2022) – Visiting Methodist University took a 7-2 USA South win over the Pfeiffer University men's tennis team on Wednesday afternoon at the Knapp Tennis Center in Misenheimer, N.C.

THE BASICS
Pfeiffer captured a pair of wins over the visiting Monarchs, with both coming in singles play.

At No. 3, senior Alec Taylor (Mooresville, N.C.) took his match over Methodist's Quinn McNamara in three sets, winning 3-6, 6-4, 6-2 in a three-set affair.

Junior Aleix Garrido (Cataluyna, Spain) secured the second Falcon point on the afternoon with a win at No. 5.  Garrido won 6-3, 6-0 over Methodist's Spencer Kieft.

BACK ON COURT
The Falcons will step out of conference play on Friday, April 1 with a road match in Charlotte, N.C. with Johnson & Wales.  Match time is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. at Park Road Park.
