Pfeiffer Women's Tennis Drops 9-0 Decision at Averett
Danville, Va. (April 11, 2022) – Visiting Pfeiffer University dropped a 9-0 decision to Averett University on Saturday in Danville, Va.

THE BASICS
Pfeiffer's Megan Rekieta and Sydney Gray opened play at No. 1 doubles and dropped an 8-3 decision to Maxence Lippens and L. Sjostrom Krook.  The No. 2 match saw Darby Sherrill and Brittany Mills take and 8-1 loss while Alison Sloop and Elithe Hudson fell in their No. 3 match by an 8-2 final

Averett went on to sweep all six singles matches in straight sets to take the 9-0 win.

The Falcons will return to the Knapp Tennis Center on Wednesday, April 13 for a 2:00 p.m. USA South match with rival Greensboro.
