Pfeiffer Women's Tennis Claims 7-0 Win at William Peace
Raleigh, N.C. (April 20, 2022) – Visiting Pfeiffer University downed host William Peace University in a USA South women's tennis match in Raleigh, N.C. on Tuesday night.

THE BASICS
The Falcons swept the two contested doubles matches and did the same in the three singles matches to take the 7-0 win.
At No. 1 doubles,
Sydney Gray and
Megan Rekieta won 8-7 in the closest match of the day. The team of
Brittany Mills and
Darby Sherrill then had no problems in their No. 2 match, winning by an 8-0 final.
In the three contested singles matches, Pfeiffer did not lose a game, winning all three sets by perfect 6-0, 6-0 scores. Sherrill won her match at No. 3 while Mills and
Alison Sloop won at No.4 and No. 5, respectively.
BACK ON COURT
The Falcons will close their USA South schedule on Saturday, April 23 with a road match at Southern Virginia. First serve is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
Pfeiffer will also host a first-round USA South Tournament match against Meredith College on Sunday, April 24 at 3:00 p.m. at the Knapp Tennis Center.
