Pfeiffer Volleyball Drops Two in Home Tri-Match
Misenheimer, N.C. (Sept. 18, 2022) – The Pfeiffer University volleyball team returned home on Saturday and dropped a pair of nonconference matches in Merner Gym.

In the first match of the day against Carolina U, Pfeiffer outhit the visiting Bruins, but fell by a 3-1 final.
Pfeiffer senior
Madison Honeycutt (Arroyo Grande, Cal.) led the way with 10 kills and seven digs. Defensively,
Kaitlyn Kilts (Madison, N.C.) and
Gabby Edwards (Catawba, N.C.) had eight digs each while freshman
Faith Miller (Clover, S.C.) had five block assists and one solo block.
Against Ferrum, Honeycutt and fellow senior
Mattie Burris (Misenheimer, N.C.) each had 10 kills each.Â
Mattie Hinson (Norwood, N.C.) was the top Falcon against Ferrum, as she had 11 kils and hit for a .241 percentage. Sophomore
Kylee Mayberry (Harmony, N.C.) dished 27 assists while Edwards had a team-best 22 digs. Honeycutt also had 15 digs in the loss.
