Pfeiffer Women's Soccer Drops 4-0 Match at Greensboro
Greensboro, N.C. – The Pfeiffer University women's soccer team dropped a 4-0 USA South match at rival Greensboro on Thursday afternoon at Pride Field on the Greensboro College campus.

Greensboro scored a pair of goals in each half to down Pfeiffer 4-0. The Pride opened the scoring at 25:03 on an unassisted goal by Hannah McCarthy. The lead would grow to 2-0 on a Cassidy Olszewski goal at 44:33 that was assisted by Skylar Mathis.
Haley Russel would push the GC lead to 3-0 at 66:54 and the final goal of the match was scored by Olszewski on a Skyler Molnar assist at 77:56 to provide the eventual 4-0 final.
Greensboro outshout Pfeiffer 18-5 on the match, with the Falcons getting shots from freshmen
Yailine Riera (Charlotte, N.C.) and
Tori Renna (Wake Forest, N.C.). Senior
Kayla Blankenship (Asheboro, N.C.) also logged a shot on goal.

Kaylee Ollis (Morganton, N.C.) made a season-high 12 saves in the match for Pfeiffer.

The Falcons will return to The Village of Misenheimer for the first time since Sept. 17 when they host a USA South match against N.C. Wesleyan on Saturday, Oct. 8. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. and is the first game of a doubleheader with the Pfeiffer men's soccer team.
