Pfeiffer Men's Basketball Drops 87-62 Road Game at Mary Washington
Fredericksburg, Va. (Jan. 26, 2023) – Visiting Pfeiffer University fell in a nonconference men's basketball game at the University of Mary Washington by an 87-62 score on Thursday night in Fredericksburg, Va.
Pfeiffer (7-10) finished the game shooting 22-of-50 (44.0%) from the field and 9-of-23 (39.1%) from beyond the arc.
Two Falcon players achieved double-digits, led by
Rashamel Butler's 11 points.
Clayton Robinson (Charlotte, N.C.) also had 10 points in the setback.
UMW's Dashawn Cook had 19 points to lead the Eagles while teammates Zack Blue and Greg Rowson had 18 and 12 points, respectively. Cook and Blue also added six rebounds each in the win, which boosts UMW to 14-5 overall.
Pfeiffer will step back into USA South play on Saturday, Jan. 28 with a 2:30 p.m. road game at William Peace.
