Rocky Mount, N.C. (Oct. 7, 2023), -- The Pfeiffer University women's soccer team dropped a 3-0 USA South match at N.C. Wesleyan on Saturday afternoon (Oct. 7) on the road at Scalf Field.
The loss dropped Pfeiffer's record to 1-10-1 overall and 0-4 in USA South action. N.C. Wesleyan improves to 3-8 overall and 1-3 in league play.
How it Happened
Pfeiffer kept N.C. Wesleyan scoreless in the first half but the Bishops notched three second half goals to take the win. Sophomore goalkeeper Olivia Garver led Pfeiffer with seven saves. The Falcons registered 12 shots in the loss, four of them on goal. Pfeiffer faced 30 N.C. Wesleyan shots, 10 of them being on goal.
