Pfeiffer Baseball Falls in Doubleheader to Carolina U
Misenheimer, N.C. (March 11, 2023) – The Pfeiffer University baseball team dropped both ends of a Saturday doubleheader to Carolina University by scores of 10-6 and 8-3.
The Basics – Game 1

Alec Bell (Kings Mountain, N.C.) delivered an RBI double in the bottom half of the inning and would later hit an RBI single in the eighth to close to 10-4. Teammate
Dino Tharp (McCordsville, Ind.) would also collect a two-RBI single in the seventh to provide the eventual 10-6 final.
The Basics – Game 2
Trailing the host Falcons 3-0, Carolina U would tie the game at 3-3 in the third inning and would take the lead in the fourth following an RBI single, making it 4-3. CU would add two more in the fifth inning and two runs in the sixth on wild pitches to take the 8-3 win.
