Misenheimer, N.C. (Oct. 16, 2024) -- The Pfeiffer University women's soccer team came up short against Methodist 3-1 in a USA Southn match on Wednesday afternoon at Lefko-Mills Field.
The loss dropped Pfeiffer's record to 3-8 overall and 1-4 in USA South play.
How it Happened
Methodist the 1-0 lead when Brooke Hunter scored in the fifth minute.
The Monarchs added another score on a goal from Emma Pedraza in the 36th minute.
Methodist would go ahead 3-0 on Lola Campbell's 42nd-minute goal, assisted by C'Nya Stevens.
The Falcons got on the board with a 77th-minute goal from sophomore Victoria Tita, her third goal of the season.
Junior goalkeeper Olivia Garver piled up eight saves for the Falcons out of 15 total Monarchs shots.
